In all of my excitement for Star Wars: Episode VII, I haven’t been paying as much attention as I should be to another film that I’m insanely excited for, Jurassic World. But after seeing these leaked images from JPLegacy.org, my imagination has once again been consumed by thoughts of dinosaurs wreaking havoc on an island of the coast of Costa Rica.
The images come from an anonymous inside source and show a map of the restored and modernized facilities on Isla Nublar, site of the first film’s events. One of the things that always bothered me about the Jurassic Park sequels was that they never returned to that island, and since director Colin Trevorrow first tweeted out a picture of “Nublar” I’ve felt a real anticipation for this film. Have a look at the pictures below. They’re certainly a step up from the Jurassic Park map poster I had hanging on my wall in the sixth grade.
We’ll see if these images are legit when Jurassic World stomps into theaters June 12, 2015.
